Description

Of course, we are not oblivious to the "friendly" counterarguments from the well-fed on the other side. With subtle class irony, they claim, as they dance their regime's waltz, that the prospect of a Greece and a world without exploiters and the oppressed, without rich and poor, without capitalist "masters" and wage-earning "slaves," is at best a form of Don Quixotism and utopia.

Equally "friendly," we respond: "A map of the world that does not include Utopia is not worth looking at, for it leaves out the only country where Humanity will always land. And when it lands, it looks beyond and, seeing a better country, sets off for there. Progress is the realization of one Utopia after another."

Certainly, this "utopian" path of recreating and revitalizing Greece is not easy. However, it is a path incomparably easier and -in terms of results- patently more realistic, in contrast to the dead-end road of countless, futile, and unbearable sacrifices to which the people and the land are subjected so that the plutocrats and their rotten political system can profit.

This Greece of popular power and popular economy, the Greece of the socialist path of development, is the most mature and realistic demand of our times that "if the people ever will it, then destiny will bow."
