Η σύνδεση γίνεται με ethernet από switch ή router, αλλά χρειαζεται unifi controller για να δουλέψει το access point και γενικά τα προϊοντα της ubiquiti. Δεν δουλεύει σαν ένα απλό access point, όπως τα TP-Link.
