Loctite 243 anaerobic threadlocker secures assemblies subject to vibration, such as bolts on engine covers, gearboxes and oil pans. It is a single-component, medium-strength threadlocker suitable for all types of metal, even when threads are slightly contaminated with industrial oils.

It cures in a few minutes and protects threads from corrosion. Its thixotropic formula does not migrate along the thread after application, and the joint can be disassembled with standard tools.
