Betaine HCI by Lamberts®

Increasing age is accompanied by a gradual decline in important bodily functions. Thus, during aging, the production of hydrochloric acid is often reduced, thereby affecting the normal breakdown of food.

Apart from the breakdown of food, hydrochloric acid plays a significant role in performing other essential bodily functions, such as sterilizing food and activating pepsin, which contributes to the absorption of vitamin B12.

Lamberts® Betaine HCI provides 324mg of betaine hydrochloride and 5mg of pepsin per tablet. The tablet is specially designed to dissolve within 30 minutes of swallowing inside the stomach, releasing hydrochloric acid and pepsin.

Like all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards. National Organization for Medicines Notification No: 27745/28.03.2016. The Notification Number does not constitute marketing authorization from the National Organization for Medicines. This product is not subject to a licensing procedure.

Nutritional Information

Per tablet:

  • Betaine Hydrochloride 324mg
  • Pepsin 5mg

Ingredients: Cellulose, Betaine Hydrochloride, Dicalcium Phosphate, Anti-caking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate & Stearic Acid), Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Glycerin), Pepsin.

As a dietary supplement for the improvement of protein digestion, take 1 tablet with each main meal, with a maximum dosage of 3 tablets daily or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow the tablets whole. Do not exceed the suggested daily intake.

Precautions:

Not to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not to be taken by individuals suffering from stomach and duodenal ulcers or suspected cases.

Allergies:

THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT CONTAIN: gluten, wheat allergens, barley, soy, eggs, milk (and milk derivatives), lactose, nuts, fish, shellfish, or sulphites.
