The substrate

• Adheres to porous substrates, such as raw wood or porous paint, such as chalk paint.
• The smooth lacquer layer must be removed before applying Decowax.
• Results and color may vary depending on the substrate.

Application

• Apply Decowax with a brush, sponge, or lint-free cloth.
• Spread the wax evenly and after 15-30 minutes, wipe off the excess wax with a cloth.
• Allow the wax to soak and harden overnight and buff the wax layer.

Finish

• A layer of wax does not require further finishing, but it needs refreshing from time to time.
• Coverage is approximately 6 m² per box, depending on the substrate and application method.
