Description

The Technics EAH-A800E headphones combine Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity with a 3.5 mm wired connection. Hybrid active noise cancellation uses feedforward and feedback technology, while Transparency mode lets you hear ambient sounds and Attention mode enhances voices. The 40 mm driver features a three-layer PEEK and polyurethane diaphragm, and LDAC wireless high-resolution audio is supported.

Eight MEMS microphones improve voice clarity during calls and reduce wind noise. Multipoint connectivity lets you connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Soft padding on the ear cushions helps reduce pressure, while the headband is adjustable. Battery life is up to 50 hours with noise cancellation enabled, and 15 minutes of quick charging provides up to 10 hours of playback.

    Technics....a name, a history! The headphones are truly excellent! I got them mainly for music and movies. Their sound is fantastic! Incredible clarity, imaging and separation, crystal-clear highs, full vocals and strong, accurate bass, with nothing masking anything else! You listen to tracks you’ve known all your life and hear "new" details you hadn’t noticed before! You "decode" the whole mix of the track, you hear the backing vocals, where each instrument is coming from, every element in its own "layer", with nothing "swallowing" the other! So, in terms of sound quality but also volume, they are clearly superior to many other models I have tried (Sennheiser, JBL, Soundcore and Sony). The ANC works satisfactorily and in a call test I did, the quality was very good and my caller said the same. To tailor them more to your taste, use only the Technics app. It may only have a simple 5-band equalizer, but it works much better with the headphones than other 3rd party apps (e.g. Poweramp, which made them sound "bloated"). For my own taste, a good V-shaped tuning makes them even more lively than they already are! As for battery life...you simply forget to charge them! I should also mention that they are very well built, with a nice case, all the necessary accessories and, completely subjectively, the silver ones are gorgeous too!

    Compared with my Recent purchased Sony XM 1000mk5 and WF 1000 my 5 ear buds and Audio technica ATH M50X BT2. Which used on my voice training and my favorite Studio monitors.

    Definitely clearer and detailed and Balanced At all range of Frequencies. Larger soft ear pads are embrace entire ear nicely and you can lay over your pillow are not bothering at all.
    Now Sony XM 1000 mk5 has downgraded driver to 3CM from 4 CM on previous model with less depth on med to low range definitely. Wow Technics was my all time favorite since my youth. They came back finally and can take Technics anywhere!
