The guitar is equipped with two custom VP5 P-90 pickups, which use Alnico V magnets, a silver baseplate, and "plain enamel" wire. These pickups deliver a warm, rich sound with the clarity and attack of a single-coil, while also providing the depth and full midrange typically associated with humbuckers. This allows guitarists to cover a wide range of tones, from clean, smooth jazz sounds on the neck pickup to dynamic, overdrive tones on the bridge pickup.
The mahogany neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods for long-term stability and reliability in any environment. The model also includes the push-pull “Focus” switch, which alters the tone's tuning frequency and increases the magnet output, offering greater versatility in sound—from clean and clear tones to powerful sounds that can push the amplifier into overdrive.
Inspired by the classic British cafe racer motorcycles of the 1960s in London, the Revstar combines vintage character with modern technology, offering comfortable playability and expressive, full sound.
