O αντίχειρας δεν λυγίζει. Αυτό άλλωστε επιτυγχάνεται με τον συγκεκριμένο νάρθηκα, η σταθεροποίηση/ακινητοποίηση του αντίχειρα. Το χέρι γίνεται γροθιά στο βαθμό που τα υπόλοιπα δάχτυλα μπορούν να σχηματίσουν γροθιά.
