Description & Specifications

Berling All Purpose Primer is a water-based adhesion primer for preparing surfaces before applying the topcoat. It can be applied to wood, masonry, metal, galvanized surfaces, aluminum, sheet metal, PVC, glass and old alkyd paints, while also providing anti-rust protection.

The primer has a white matte finish and can be overcoated after 24 hours with water-based paints or alkyd paints thinned with White Spirit. Its coverage is 12–14 m²/lt, depending on the surface, and it is touch-dry in 1–2 hours. Apply with a brush or roller in 1 or 2 coats, allowing 6 hours before applying the second coat. Dilute with water by 8–10% by volume.
