  • Storage Temperature: -10 °C ~ +60 °C
  • Dimensions: 150 x 77 x 40 [mm]
  • Weight: approximately 108 g

Functionality

The pyrometer is a non-contact temperature measuring device for moving objects using infrared rays. It features a very high temperature range (-50 ~ +600 °C) and measurement accuracy, simple operation, modern and ergonomic design. It is easy to use: just aim the laser at the object being tested and press the trigger, the result appears on a transparent LCD screen with backlight and color. The device does not require manual calibration.

Display and Function Description

  • Temperature value.
  • Symbol for the maximum measured value.
  • Maximum measured temperature.
  • Measurement unit (Fahrenheit) - selectable.
  • Measurement unit (Celsius) - selectable.
  • Low battery indicator.
  • Indicator of activated laser (measurement integration).
  • Infrared measurement status icon.
  • Setting function for the lower temperature alarm value.
  • Setting function for the upper temperature alarm value.
  • H (HOLD) icon - stable measurement icon on the screen.
  • Adjustable emissivity value of the object.

Measurement Principles

Ensure that the object you are measuring is larger than the measurement point. The smaller the target, the closer the pyrometer should be to the target. The spot size ratio is 12:1. As the distance (D) from the surface of the measured target increases, the size of the spot (S) of the measured area becomes larger.
