I’ve had my Xiaomi Redmi 11S for 3.5 years now, and for its price, it has been an excellent phone, especially when it comes to durability and consistency.
The battery life is still quite good, app performance is solid, and it handles games surprisingly well for its age. The camera, however, is only average.
What really stands out to me is its durability. For the first 1.5 years, I used a case and screen protector, but for the last two years, I’ve used it completely unprotected.
I’m not exactly careful with my phone either. I’ve dropped it countless times, including just two days ago from a height of around 3 meters.
It didn’t get damaged. At all.
(Like a Nokia, for those who know.)
After 3.5 years, it still works perfectly and has remained remarkably reliable.
If I wanted to buy an affordable and reliable phone, I would definitely choose this one.
