The story begins at J’s Bar, where eight characters — including police officer Cindy, guard Mark, and journalist Alyssa — are trapped when a zombie invades and spreads the virus. As the city descends into chaos, players experience five distinct scenarios: Outbreak, Below Freezing Point, The Hive, Hellfire, and Decisions, Decisions, which take place in various locations such as hospitals, laboratories, and underground areas. Each scenario reveals pieces of the broader story of the epidemic and the involvement of the Umbrella Corporation.
