• D string: available as double wound aluminium or wound with layer of aluminium and one of high-grade silver

Available in sizes 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16. The fractional E in sizes 1/8 and 1/16 is wrapped with aluminum to facilitate playability.
