I use it every year for waterproofing some shoes and a jacket that I use. You spray it, let it dry for a few hours in open air, and ideally repeat 2 more times. Keep in mind that fabrics with large pores cannot be fully covered. Not even a classic athletic shoe can be made waterproof (for the same reason). However, it can protect leather shoes (especially suede) or shoes and jackets with dense fabric from water and dirt. The quantity is enough for 5 pairs of shoes and two jackets for sure.
