    i bought two pieces - none is working.
    the engine is too weak to open/close the led: as you approach your palm it starts humming, but nothing is happening besides the noise.

    UPDATE: it turned out, the batteries coming with the bin were too old and failed to provide enough of energy.
    replaced the batteries and all works well.
    moreover, compared with other bins with electrcially driven doors, this one is relatively quiet
