Herbstore rosemary essential oil is derived from the leaves and branches of the Rosmarinus officinalis plant and is produced by steam distillation. It has a camphoraceous, spicy and invigorating aroma, and is organic and edible.
It dissolves in ethanol, vegetable oils and other essential oils, but is almost insoluble in water. It is used in aromatherapy, perfumery and personal care products, and blends well with lavender, citronella, mint, basil, lemon balm and chamomile. It is generally not intended for preparing food or beverages.
