The Theta 3D Microphone is equipped with a microphone unit from Audio-Technica Corporation, which is renowned for its high technological power and reliability. Compared to the built-in microphone, a larger diameter microphone, approximately 10mm, is used to record natural sounds and collects information across the spectrum from mid to low frequencies. Thanks to its ability to capture loud mid-frequency sounds, it is ideal for recording musical performances.

Additionally, by making the microphone acoustically unidirectional, the user enjoys smooth transitions when moving from one point to another. The included windscreen accessory helps reduce wind noise when recording outdoors.
