I thought it was the drum. I went to a store to change the drum, and right in front of me, they put their toner in my drum, hit print, and everything came out perfect, I mean not a single line or shadow, like new.
In the end, I changed the toner, put in one that is definitely suitable, and the months-long problem I had was fixed instantly.
