Babylon Restored, the old borough of Manhattan, has potential, however. Governed by the mysterious High Epic, Regalia, David believes that Babylon Restored will lead him to what he needs to find. And while entering another city oppressed by a High Epic despot is a gamble, David is willing to take the risk. Because Steelheart's demise left a hole in David's heart. A hole where his thirst for revenge once was. Somehow, he has filled that hole with another Epic - Firefight. And he is willing to undertake a mission darker and more dangerous even than the fight against Steelheart to find her and get his answers.
