I deducted one star for the quality of the plastic and because the plastic cover that closes the hard drive has no lock. If you open and close it often, in the end it will open by itself.

It does its job very well. Although I was initially afraid that the hard drive might burn out or stop working, it seems that with this device the connection between the hard drive and the computer is made safely. The device connects to the power and has an on/off switch. Before disconnecting the device from the computer, I select "safely remove device" and thus disconnect it from the computer.
