Description

Description

Guide to developing STEM applications and educational activities with Arduino. In today's world, wherever we look, we find hidden mechanisms that control certain conditions and act accordingly. These mechanisms often rely on microcontrollers or microcomputers and can be found in household appliances, in the personal electronic devices we use daily (digital wristwatches, mobile phones, tablets, etc.), and even in our cars.

All of this seems marvelous, as it appears to happen automatically. However, if we think about it a little more, we will realize that behind them lies a human mind that has given the appropriate instructions to these mechanisms to act in this way. The constructions we can create with Arduino are numerous and serve various purposes. Hobbyists can build remote-controlled cars, students can create various devices that can take measurements, turn on lights when the brightness in the room is low, activate mechanisms, and much more.

The book follows the spiral curriculum teaching method, as formulated in 1960 by American psychologist Jerome Bruner. It contains a multitude of examples, most of which can be implemented practically, thus allowing the reader to become familiar with the Arduino C++ programming language until they are ultimately able to create their own applications.

It is suitable for beginners as well as advanced users, for middle and high school students as well as for students of higher education institutions, for amateur enthusiasts and also for professionals.

Accompanying material: The source code for the exercises, the answers to all questions, the solutions to all exercises, as well as videos of the applications are provided free of charge via the Internet.

Book contents: Introductory concepts, algorithms and programming, electrical and electronic circuits, applications for beginners, applications for advanced users, useful elements.

Excellent analysis and step-by-step training in programming. Truly, for anyone who knows NOTHING about programming and Arduino, there is NO other book where you can learn two things in one!
