    I bought the dark saber and this one for the kids. The specific (vader) stopped making sound after 7 minutes of use. I emphasize that during these "critical" 7 minutes, it did not receive any mistreatment or hits (those came later).
    The other one still works fine.
    Also, I have to say that the transparent material which is the "blade" scratches quite easily (if you are a very aggressive jedi) and also it doesn't illuminate very well, maybe it should have been colored instead of transparent - and this is confirmed by the dark saber which illuminates better.
    In any case, now we have a darth vader at home, which is always good!
    Edit: I now realize that the product I received is different from the one advertised, as the "blade" is transparent while it is clearly advertised in the photos (where it is disassembled) as colored, resulting in it barely illuminating during the day.
