The Rotel RC-1590MKII is a reference preamplifier that delivers analog and digital sources with natural expression in a wide and open soundstage with stunning clarity. The heart of the RC-1590MKII starts with the power supply featuring dual toroidal transformers manufactured in-house. The transformers are physically and electrically isolated, providing dedicated analog and digital supplies to all critical circuits via low ESR capacitors, eliminating unwanted distortion and extremely low noise. Digital source inputs are processed using a 32-bit/384kHz Texas Instruments digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with external sound filters, delivering even the most detailed nuances with exceptional clarity.

The analog signal paths feature DIRECT-PATH bypass modes, eliminating unnecessary circuits and preserving signal integrity. The RC-1590MKII supports a full range of inputs for connection to favorite sources, including a Moving Magnet Phono input for vinyl enthusiasts, analog, digital, XLR Balanced, high-quality aptXTM and AAC wireless Bluetooth, and PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz) supporting MQA and Roon Tested. The dual RCA and XLR connection provides ultimate flexibility, including bi-amping installations.
