Description

The Glenmorangie distillery was founded in 1843 in the Highlands of Scotland, with production starting in 1849, and since the early 19th century, it has been part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy group. It is considered a pioneer in the technique of "double" maturation of whiskey in sherry, port, and wine barrels. In the ancient Gallic language, "Lasanta" means warmth and passion. These words perfectly characterize this exquisite malt from the Highlands, which exudes beautiful aromas of raisin, caramel, and cocoa and presents unique complexity and duration.

An elegant single malt whiskey, with a full body, aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry barrels after spending at least 10 years in Bourbon barrels. With a smooth, rich texture, deep, sweet aromas and flavors, it appeals to those who experiment and who love the exceptional.

Perhaps the best 12-year-old single malt on the market right now. It has always been good, but the distillery has now improved even more in quality.

    Very sweet for my taste.
It remains a very good whiskey of course.
    You drink it easily.
I guess I have gotten used to cask strength now.
    Directly with the high degrees.
    I can't explain it otherwise.
But my friends, it's good to try because taste is subjective
