The SHT20 I2C temperature and humidity sensor is equipped with a waterproof head. It features the SHT20 CMOSens® temperature and humidity chip, and the head has undergone double waterproof protection testing. The SHT20 I2C utilizes Sensirion's technologies.
In addition to the capacitive humidity sensor and the band gap temperature sensor, the SHT20 includes an amplifier, A/D converter, OTP memory, and a digital processing unit. Compared to the previous SHT1x and SHT7x series, the SHT20 exhibits strong reliability and long-term stability. It can accurately measure ambient temperature and relative humidity in the air.
A built-in 10k pull-up resistor and 0.1μF filter capacitor are also provided, facilitating the sensor's direct use with microcontrollers like Arduino.
