Description

The Akyga® AK-EC-12 charger is a three-phase charger for electric vehicles. The long 5 m cable ends with two plugs. The first is a type 2 plug, which is recognized as the standard for car charging in Europe, while the second is equipped with a 5-pin CEE plug, allowing charging at 400V. The high quality of the cables ensures a stable connection during charging with power up to 11 kW. Thus, you can charge your electric car quickly and without restrictions at home using a socket in the garage.

The AK-EC-12 charger is essentially a portable EVSE charging station. It features the most important functions found in wallbox-type stations. These include protections (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP), which protect against excessive current and voltage, as well as overheating of the charger and the vehicle’s battery. In addition, it is possible to adjust the charging current via a button located on the control panel, known as the ControlBox. It allows the selection of current from: 6, 8, 10, 13, and 16 A, as well as setting the charging time limit from 1 to 10 hours. Furthermore, the ControlBox features a built-in LCD screen. It displays charging parameters such as: charging current and power, network voltage, total energy consumed by the device, charger temperature, and charging time.

The product will prove useful in charging the batteries of electric cars such as: Audi A3 e-Tron, BMW i3, BMW i8, Chevrolet Spark, Mercedes B Class E-Celler, Mercedes S500 PHEV, Mercedes SLS EV, Mercedes Vito E-Cell Van, Porsche Panamera S PHEV, Volkswagen e-Up, Volkswagen e-Golf, Volvo V60 PHEV.
