The product is completely plastic (I didn't expect anything different); however, it consists of two plastic pieces (right and left). The two pieces are held together with plastic "clips" that opened with the first fall. It has a sensor at the base that starts the motor when it touches. So when you touch it with the base, it "vibrates" non-stop. It also has a coffee holder with a spray that comes out very easily, along with its container (so the child can take it out very easily by themselves).
