Excellent food of top quality with low carbohydrates. It is true that it has very low moisture and no plant fibers unlike some other foods, but I don't find this negative. If the cat drinks enough water and you also give it some wet food as a supplement, there will be no problem. If the cat gets to the point of not relieving itself for 3 days, take it to a veterinarian immediately before it gets to the point of needing surgery. You can add a little pumpkin puree or even a spoonful of water when serving to help in case of a constipated cat.

I chose this specific food because it is one of the few "grain free" options that claims to contain fresh meat and not by-products, while also not containing large amounts of legumes which some associate with heart disease.

The cat, who is very picky with dry food, went crazy trying to eat it, so it must be very tasty.

However, there is a serious problem. This specific food (and the other 2 flavors in the "Fresh meat" line) contains no "moisture" at all, nor any kind of plant fibers to help the intestines.

My cat, who developed constipation with dry foods, ended up at the vet due to a blockage in the intestines as this specific food resulted in stools as hard as a rock.

If your cat has a similar constipation problem, pay close attention.
