The Primo VS rim is the updated model of the 7series and has undergone several changes. It is double-walled and fully CNC (milled at the joint) with anodization and 36 holes made of lightweight and durable 6061 series aviation-type aluminum.
The 7series has holes positioned more laterally to prevent warping under lateral pressures while its weight is negligibly heavier at 445 grams.
