The continuous development of helmet technology has led to the addition of the MIPS system to the POC Obex helmet, which is suitable for all-day wear and all mountains. The MIPS enhances head protection during falls by allowing 10-15mm of movement upon impact, aiming to reduce rotational forces on the head. The helmet is constructed with a lightweight and durable EPS core designed to absorb impact energy.

The entire helmet is covered with a PC (polycarbonate) layer and an outer surface made of ABS, ensuring comfort and protection throughout use. Adjustable vents provide excellent ventilation control, while integrated vents at the front of the helmet help prevent fogging on goggles. The 360° size adjustment system, operated by a rotating dial, allows the user to find the perfect fit without needing to change pads. The design has been optimized for a perfect fit and compatibility with POC goggles.
