The fictional story titled Operation Silver Sky is based on elements of historical reality. The involvement and exposure of a German network of spies and agents in London, bearing the mystical name "Eagles," contributes to the thwarting of Operation Silver Sky, which was none other than the name of remotely controlled —in some way— invisible, to radar, German aerotorpedoes from Greenland targeting the USA and England.
It was an operation that historically corresponds to the attacks on London with the V-1 and V-2 rockets.
