Grandstream GWN7660 WiFi Mesh Network Access Point Wi‑Fi 6 Dual Band (2.4 & 5GHz)

Key features:

  • 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6
  • Dual Band (2.4 & 5GHz)
  • Maximum WLAN Speed: 750 Mbps
  • LAN Speed: 1000 Mbps
  • 2x2:2 MIMO Technology

Top specs

  • Maximum WLAN Speed

Theoretical maximum speed with one wirelessly connected device, mainly used for marketing purposes. The speed that each connected device will have depends on the distance, obstacles, how many other devices are connected, how many other networks exist in the same area, etc.

  • Ethernet Ports

Wired connection capability through an Ethernet network port. It allows connection via Ethernet cable, ensuring a stable and reliable connection, high data transfer speeds, and reduced interference compared to Wi-Fi.

  • Frequency

The frequencies at which the Access Point can transmit.
    2. Additional frequencies allow for greater speed on more devices.

    Dual Band (2.4 & 5GHz)

They transmit signals on two frequencies. They offer higher speeds compared to single and connect more devices. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most common and, as it has a large range, is usually congested by neighboring Wi-Fi signals, making communication between devices more difficult. The 5Ghz provides higher speeds than the 2.4Ghz but is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g. walls) that reduce its range. This difference, as well as its more limited use, helps to have fewer interferences from other networks.

  • Wi-Fi Generation

    Wi‑Fi 6

The most advanced Wi-Fi standard, offering speeds up to 40% faster than Wi-Fi 5, coordinates communication with connected devices to consume less battery, and works better in environments with many Wi-Fi devices.

Ideal for homes with many smart devices.

    Compatible with all previous generations.
