For its price, it is good. For a brushed motor, it is fast and if you are starting the hobby, it is even faster than you can handle. It seems to be of good quality and durable but it does not have metal parts and its suspensions are only springs, without the hydraulic system that more expensive models have. For a 4-year-old child, it is OK, ONLY WITH SUPERVISION. The speed can be reduced by a special switch for better control. But to connect/disconnect the battery and charge it, you have to remove the body/cover like in all RCs of this category. This + the risk due to wires etc. make it unsuitable for very young ages. It is not a toy. In general, though, it is a lot of fun. On dirt it is very entertaining and no matter how many times it flipped, it has endured a lot.
