Not bad sound but on 05-09-2018 they stopped working when used on a PC ???
In the end, it turns out the problem is with the PC!!

For their time when they came out, they were quite good to very good compared to the competition, I got them when they first came out. Now they have delivered their spirit but I need to make an overall assessment for today. Decent speakers, good sound balance and that's it, only for office without demands, but in high volume they were not worth it back then because they distort and harden when pushed. Plus the fact that after five or six years that I have them, I still wonder why they are still in circulation. Good choice for the competition back then but today it is a very outdated model. In terms of power, the Genius SP-HF500A are better.

They were purchased for a computer workshop to support presentations on a projector (movies, presentations, etc.). These 2.0 (2 speakers) were preferred over 2.1 solutions (2 speakers with a woofer) for spatial reasons (they fit easily on a desk).

For the work we got them for, they are okay, but for home (personal use) they do not work. Their sound is "flat" almost muffled at all frequencies. Increasing the "tone" (a potentiometer for bass, treble, midrange) above the middle improves their image a bit, but it remains unbalanced and cannot be corrected. While adjusting the bass, the treble from the tweeters "pinch" and you want to reduce them, but the button is one and it doesn't work (it ruins the midrange and bass if you reduce them). Perhaps if they had more potentiometers (different for bass, treble, midrange) you could "bring" them to a more balanced state.

Overall, listening to music is NOT at a HiFi level, not even close. It is rather "flat" for such work without depth or harmony. There are other much more balanced options.

I'm not saying they are like some cheap speakers sold for okay quality. No, they are "good" compared to those. However, for the price they ask for, if space is not a problem and you want to listen to music, definitely buy only a 2.1 (or more) solution with a woofer so you can adjust the bass properly and get a better sound due to the larger objective diameter of the woofer.

In terms of appearance and material quality, they are very nice and well-made (they shine nicely in the front while the matte plastic around them is also of good quality). They are powered by an external power supply, while their cable is fully removable (mini jack to mini jack "plug" to "plug") and you can replace it with a larger one or an RCA on one side or whatever you want. Although it may not seem like it in the photo, they are medium-sized (I think they appear smaller in the photo) and each has ventilation holes on top. They also have an additional line-in and headphone port on the sides of the right speaker.

Owner for 2 years and after a lot of searching, it is the best multimedia speaker I have ever had.
-Not so full sound at low volume.
-The tremble and bass adjustment is on 1 switch and not 2 separately.
+Very good frequency range with satisfactory bass from the sub.
+Very good build quality.
+For small spaces more than enough volume.
+Extra ports for headphone cable and other devices.
For music at their price, they are a category of their own without meaning they are not suitable for movies or games.
