The Sanitec sink is made of 18/10 stainless steel, which is an alloy that combines the mechanical properties of steel with the typical anti-corrosive characteristics of noble metals.

It represents the perfect ratio between chromium and nickel:

• Chromium hardens the steel, making it tough and enhancing its corrosion resistance.
• Nickel increases its impact resistance and adds shine.
• Steel increases its lifespan and enhances its shine.

Only 18/10 stainless steel protects the sink from breaking and peeling and can guarantee maximum hygiene, as evidenced by its use in surgical environments.

It requires minimal maintenance to retain its shine and beauty, and for cleaning, neutral cleaners are recommended, especially those specialized for stainless steel surfaces.

The finish is satin, meaning it is smooth and requires more care, as limescale is more visible.

The installation is inset, meaning it is recessed into the countertop and its rim protrudes. It is the easiest and most common installation for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, with some support points at the bottom for stabilization. Sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, which is placed around the perimeter of the hole, under the rim.

Beyond the length and width of the sink, you should also check the installation dimensions, or otherwise the cabinet. The cabinet is the required space that must remain empty in the cupboard under the sink, so that during the installation of the sink it can be placed comfortably.
