They are the compact offering in Magnat’s Signature 700 series, featuring a dual high-frequency system certified for Hi-Res Audio. This consists of a 1.2-inch (30 mm) main fmax dome tweeter and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) super tweeter for extended response up to 54 kHz. For midrange and bass frequencies, they use a 6.5-inch (170 mm) driver with an aluminum-ceramic cone (Feikonic) and a cast aluminum basket. The cabinet features a bass-reflex design with a rear-facing Airflex Port tuning duct, internal MDF bracing, and dual gold-plated connection terminals that support bi-wiring and bi-amping.

The main 1.2-inch (30 mm) tweeter has a fabric diaphragm and a specially designed low-distortion suspension, handling the high-frequency range. It is complemented by a 0.75-inch (19 mm) super tweeter, which extends the frequency response up to 54 kHz, delivering excellent dispersion, rich harmonics and precise playback of high-resolution audio files.

Ceramic-Organo Aluminium Transducer & 3-Way Architecture

To reproduce the mid and low frequencies, the speaker is equipped with a 6.5-inch (170 mm) driver. Its cone is made from a composite material with an aluminium and ceramic coating, combining high rigidity with low weight. The driver is housed in a robust cast-aluminium basket to prevent distortion and resonance, while the Klippel-optimised magnet system ensures linear voice-coil travel and tight bass response down to 31Hz.

Cabinet Design, Airflex Port & Bi-Wiring Connections

The cabinet of the Signature 703 is made from high-density MDF with internal bracing to eliminate standing waves. The front panel features a high-gloss lacquer finish, while the body is covered in satin white vinyl. The rear panel incorporates an Airflex Port with an aerodynamic opening to reduce air turbulence.
