Use with Z5 and Z30. The lens is very honest for its money. In the Z30, which has better af than the Z5, it performs better. In photographic use and with sufficient to low light, I have not lost focus on either of the two cameras. In very low light, the Z30 focuses faster on faces with eye af without increasing the iso. This is where the age of the Z5 sensor is evident. However, this can be solved with a slight increase in iso on the Z5, which as a Full Frame has more tolerance to higher iso. I write this because I read about a problem with the Z5 and I believe it is due to the camera and not the lens, as I have a comparison measure with another body. It is also something that concerns only the eye af and not any other autofocus function.
In video with the Z30, it is an excellent lens (always for its money). Light enough to be placed on a gimbal without becoming front-heavy, while it is also fast enough with f/2 so that there is never a problem in any condition. The af sticks to the eye and does not move. Both on people and animals.
Again, better performance on the Z30 compared to the Z5. Even when the Z5 is in 4K mode. However, the two bodies have a 4-year difference.
In general, Nikon's "nifty forty," so small that it makes the camera fit in a jacket pocket. Especially if one has one of the more compact models. I would buy it again.
Χρήση με Ζ5 και Ζ30. Ο φακός για τα λεφτά του είναι πολύ τίμιος. Στην Ζ30 που έχει καλύτερο af απο την Ζ5 συμπεριφέρεται καλύτερα. Σε φωτογραφική χρήση και με επαρκές προς λιγοστό φως δεν έχω χάσει εστίαση σε καμία απο τις δύο μηχανές. Σε πολύ μα πολύ χαμηλό φως η Ζ30 εστιάζει γρηγορότερα σε πρόσωπα eye af χωρίς να ανέβει το iso. Εκεί φαίνεται και η ηλικία του αισθητήρα της Ζ5. Τίποτα που δεν λύνεται όμως με λίγο ανέβασμα του iso στην Ζ5 που σαν Full Frame έχει και παραπάνω ανοχή σε υψηλότερα iso. Τα γράφω αυτά επειδή διάβασα για πρόβλημα με την Ζ5 και πιστεύω πως οφείλεται στην κάμερα και όχι στον φακό, μιας και έχω μέτρο σύγκρισης και με άλλο σώμα. Επίσης είναι κάτι που αφορά μόνο το af στο μάτι κάποιου ανθρώπου αυτόματα και όχι σε κάποια άλλη λειτουργία autofocus.
Στο video με την Ζ30 είναι ένας εξαιρετικός φακός (πάντα για τα λεφτά του). Αρκετά ελαφρύς για να βρίσκεται πάνω σε gimbal και να μην γίνεται εμπροστοβαρές, ενώ είναι και αρκετά γρήγορος με το f/2 ώστε να μην υπάρχει πρόβλημα ποτέ και σε καμία συνθήκη. Κολλάει το af στο μάτι και δεν φεύγει. Τόσο σε ανθρώπους όσο και σε ζώα.
Πάλι καλύτερη απόδοση στην Ζ30 σε σχέση με την Ζ5. Ακόμη και όταν είναι σε λειτουργία 4Κ η Ζ5. Έχουν όμως και 4 χρόνια διαφορά τα δύο σώματα.
Σε γενικές γραμμές ο "nifty forty" της Nikon, και τόσο μικρός που κάνει την μηχανή να χωράει σε τσέπη μπουφάν. Ειδικά αν έχει κάποιος απο τα πιο μαζεμένα σε διαστάσεις μοντέλα. Θα τον ξαναγόραζα.
