The Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth Deluxe synthesizer combines two sound engines with per-note polyphonic aftertouch on its 73 semi-weighted Polytouch keys. In SINGLE mode, it offers 16-voice polyphony, while MULTI mode splits the voices between two 8-voice engines, with KEYSPLIT or DUAL options.

Each engine features 3 oscillators and 219 single-cycle waveforms, while the mutators support FM, wavestack, and hard sync. The modulation matrix has 32 slots, 29 sources, and 155 destinations, while the arpeggiator offers separate LOWER and UPPER settings. It also includes pre- and post-effects, pitch and mod wheels, and a 4-octave ribbon controller with pitch bend, CC, and Theremin modes.
