The boiler has a screw cap, to drain the water, for example, once a month and to clean it from the minerals. It is perhaps the only one with a 5-year factory warranty. The cheaper ones, around €120, are not worth it because they only have a 2-year warranty, a little steam, and a boiler in the iron plate. I had one like that, and after 2-3 years it broke down, and they told me the repair was not worth it (fault in the plate and circuit board).

Το μποιλερ έχει βιδωτη τάπα , για να αδειάζει το νερό πχ 1 φορά το μήνα και να καθαρίζει από τα άλατα. Είναι ίσως το μόνο με 5 χρόνια εργοστασιακή εγγύηση. Update 01/12/24. Το σίδερο δεν επισκευάστηκε και μου έστειλαν καινούργιο τον Σεπτέμβριο. Μετά από 3 μήνες το σίδερο βγάζει σκουριά την ώρα του σιδερώματος. Η οδηγία από την Singer ήταν το νερό να είναι μισό απιονισμένο και μισό βρύσης.
