This teaching aid aims to effectively support the preparation of candidates for the national exams in the subject of Modern Greek language and specifically in the topic related to Modern Greek literature. It includes forty-four Modern Greek literary texts (42 poems and two prose texts by leading Greek poets), which are analyzed in terms of textual indicators and content. It also includes fruitful reflections that arise from reading the texts and are related to thematic units of the Modern Greek language as taught in the three grades of high school. The texts, for the most part, come from the textbooks of Modern Greek literature, mainly from the last two grades of high school, as well as from the material folder and thematic cycles. In addition, texts are included outside of the aforementioned sources, which express contemporary reflections through the choice of topics as well as through poetic expression methods.
