The BMC OTASP-25 barrel-style air filter is an engine air intake and filtration kit for the Alfa Romeo MiTo. The oval airbox, made from five layers of carbon fibre, helps provide thermal insulation from heat sources and makes installation easier. Its renewable filter material is designed for filtration with reduced pressure drop.
Inside the airbox, the Oval Trumpet is positioned on the air outlet side and uses its shape to direct and channel airflow toward the engine. The sealing system ensures a seal between the components and maintains the device’s pressure at different engine speeds.
