Description

Description

The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM lens has a fixed focal length and is designed for Nikon F cameras with an APS-C sensor. Its maximum aperture of f/1.4 makes it easier to shoot in low-light conditions and allows you to control depth of field for selective focus. Its optical construction includes two aspherical elements and one high-refractive-index element, which help reduce distortion and spherical aberrations.

The Super Multi-Layer coating reduces flare and ghosting, while the autofocus stepping motor operates quickly, accurately, and almost silently. The nine rounded diaphragm blades contribute to smooth background rendering. The body is made of a thermally stable composite material, and the mount is made of brass.

Excellent at all apertures. Clearly better than Nikon's equivalent 35mm 2.8G.
