  • Very good spit and the mechanism is flawless! Easy to install, although I drilled other holes in the grill because they don't fit (Jamestown knox 3.2)

  • The two parts of the spit do not screw together. In the meantime, I had done all the work, made holes in my grill and installed the motor, and then I saw that there was a problem. My nerves...

  • Good construction, easy to clean, and the mechanism seems to be durable. It was installed in a Broil King 340 with a small modification to the bases.

  • The skewer comes in 2 pieces that screw together. The pieces unscrew during use. The counterweight doesn't work. I bought it only for the motor and the bases and I cut a new single-piece stainless steel skewer to do the job. It fits on Bormann grills. The motor is slow but completely silent. Of course, it's not suitable for lamb, only for small skewers like chicken, rabbit, etc. Here in the province, we eat a couple of flocks per year. We don't mess around with skewers, do we?

  • I bought it for my Maddox 4.1. Since the holes in the supports are up and down, I had to drill holes left and right because that's how the grill fits. Similarly, I had to get different screws slightly thicker. One-minute installation. I only installed one base on one side (of the motor). The second one was not needed for the other side as my grill already had a slot. So far, I have cooked 3 skewers and a whole chicken. Everything is perfect. It didn't struggle at all. Time will tell about the quality.
