The course of Modern Greek Language and Literature serves as the means for students to achieve linguistic awareness. This achievement requires a deep understanding of linguistic phenomena and dynamic enhancement of their reading skills, so that they can comprehend the linguistic choices of each author, interpret texts considering the communicative context in which they are produced, and ultimately, produce their own texts.
In this context, this book, avoiding the recycling of a grammatical metalanguage, aims at the substantial engagement of students with linguistic phenomena both at the level of interpretation and production, through the continuous interaction of morphosyntactic and lexical choices with the communicative situations in which they act.
