    After a lot of searching and dead ends, since everyone says their own about the various kickstarters on the market, I ended up with this one because of the rated 1200A peak it provides.

    My car is a Seat Leon 1.6 TDI with a 640A starting current battery. The car, due to a power leak from the aftermarket screen, had completely died, it didn't even unlock with the remote control and the key had to be used.

    With a full charge, and in about 5 seconds of cranking, the car started normally and the kickstarter dropped from 100% to 31% (so you can imagine how much the battery had discharged). If I had bought anything below 600-1200A peak, I would have simply wasted my money. Note that diesel is much harder to "catch" than gasoline due to the preheating it requires.

    That's it for anyone who has diesel and is considering a solution - don't go for something smaller/weaker, it's worth the money and more!
