The inspiration for the design of the "La Stanza dello Scirocco" items comes from the abstract atmosphere of a magical place. Specifically, from the room of the grand villas of Sicily, where residents sought refuge until the southeast wind "sirocco" calmed down. This room had no windows and usually only one source of light, creating an environment for reflection.

Mario Trimarchi, in designing his objects, placed great emphasis on the play of light and shadow. The result is a collection of irregularly geometric items consisting of small raw pieces of various sizes, connected in an unstable balance, creating a unique visual effect. The design is striking, creating an abstract aura.
