The SmartWise T1R3B is the latest generation of a three-gang RF (radio-controlled) wireless touch switch, often used as a two-way wireless switch for Sonoff TX and Sonoff T1 switches. The R2 is the new model with the same appearance as the previous version but internally upgraded with a more powerful RF chip and 2 slots for CR2032 batteries for longer battery life.
The dimensions of the glass touch surface are the same as the previously available Sonoff T433 and have an almost identical appearance. It is compatible with the smart switches Sonoff T1 and TX (WiFi + RF), with their design harmonizing well.
Within the switch casing is a 433MHz RF radio frequency. It is not standalone, wireless pairing with Sonoff T1 (1C / 2C) and TX T1, T2, T3 (1C, 2C, 3C) switches is required via radio frequency or with an RF gateway like the Sonoff RF Bridge. It is also compatible with the Sonoff RF relay and Sonoff 4CH Pro relay, use it for remote control of the relays and to turn on/off any lights or other devices connected to the RF or 4CH Pro relays.
The SmartWise T1R1/T1R2/T1R3 remote controls operate with 2 CR2032 batteries, which are not included in the package. It is mounted to the wall by screwing (not included) or with double-sided adhesive tape (included). No wiring is required, it controls other T1/TX switches via radio frequency. It has no internal wall part nor does it require electrical wall boxes.
