It combines ion-exchange resin with activated carbon, while the built-in bypass allows 25% of the water to pass through without softening, preserving minerals that contribute to the flavor of coffee.

It has a capacity of 2,250 liters at a water hardness of 180 ppm CaCO3 and a flow rate of 3.8 liters per minute. The Sanitary Quick Change connection system allows replacement with a quarter turn, without tools or contact with the filter media. It operates with cold water and is designed for commercial coffee machines.
