I had an AOC with IPS, but after 7 years of use, it started showing dead pixels. So, I decided to buy a branded one to "have it for a lifetime," as they say, and see if I'm really paying for quality or not.
The comment may seem exaggerated, but out of curiosity, I bought it since AOC and DELL are equally reputable in the monitor industry, but DELL is naturally a monopoly in comparison...
First impressions are positive.
Ergonomic panel fully adjustable, slightly better colors (they appear more vibrant, with accurate color reproduction, with a small difference, don't imagine too much, but it's noticeable) compared to the predecessor I had, even though they share the same technical specifications. Equally eye-friendly as my old one, and for 1080p 60fps, you don't have to worry about "ghosting" in games. Firstly, it has a setting to make the response time 5ms in its menu, although I left it at the default (8ms) because I didn't see any difference in gaming.
Also, a positive aspect is that it is power-friendly since with normal settings, it doesn't consume more than 15 watts. Let's say 5-10 watts compared to the previous one, which is not significant, but not negligible in the times we live in...
Now, we'll see about durability.
I will come back in the future, God willing, as funny as it may sound, because I bought it mainly for its quality/lifespan.

Είχα μια AOC με Ips αλλά στα 7 χρόνια χρήσης μου έβγαζε νεκρά πίξελς , είπα να πάρω μια επώνυμη για να «την έχω μια ζωή» που λέμε να δω αν όντως πληρώνω ποιότητα ή όχι.
Μπορεί να φαντάζει υπερβολικό το σχόλιο αλλά για λόγους περιέργειας την αγόρασα καθώς AOC και DELL είναι εξίσου αξιοπρεπείς στον χώρο των οθονών αλλά η DELL είναι αυτονόητα μονοπώλιο σε σύγκριση...
Πρώτες εντυπώσεις θετικές.
Εργονομικό πάνελ πλήρως ρυθμιζόμενο, λίγο καλύτερα χρώματα (δείχνουν πιο ζωντανά, με σωστό χρωματισμό με μικρή διαφορά μη φανταστείτε, αλλά φένεται) από τον προκάτοχο που είχα παρόλο που μοιράζονται τα ίδια τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά εξίσου ξεκούραστη για το μάτι όπως και η παλιά μου και για 1080p 60fps να μην σας νοιάζει το "ghosting" στα games καταρχάς έχει ρύθμιση για να γίνει 5ms το response time στο menu της παρόλα αυτά το άφησα στο default (8ms) γιατί δεν είδα καμία διαφορά στο gaming.
Θετικό επίσης είναι ότι είναι φιλική με το ρεύμα αφού με νορμάλ ρυθμίσεις δεν τρώει παραπάνω από 15watts.Πες κανά 5-10 watt σε σχέση με την προηγούμενη παρακάτω πράγμα όχι σπουδαίο αλλά όχι και αμελητέο τέτοιους καιρούς που ζούμε...
Τώρα από διάρκεια θα δούμε.
Θα επανέλθω στο μέλλον πρώτα ο Θεός όσο αστείο και αν ακούγεται διότι έχω ως κύριο λόγο την ποιότητα/διάρκεια ζωής που την αγόρασα.
Μέχρι στιγμής ικανοποιημένος.
