The Electrocompaniet ECI 80D is a stereo integrated Hi-Fi amplifier that combines high-quality analogue sound with modern digital capabilities. It delivers 80 W per channel into 8 ohms and features a built-in MM phono preamplifier, Bluetooth 5.0 aptX-HD wireless connectivity and a standalone headphone amplifier with dual outputs.

Amplification Stage & Robust Power

The ECI 80D delivers continuous power of 2 x 80W at 8 Ohms and 2 x 150W at 4 Ohms, effortlessly driving a wide range of speakers. It features exceptionally low distortion THD+N < 0.005%, an extremely wide frequency response of 1Hz – 150kHz, and a Damping Factor > 300 for precise control of low frequencies. It also incorporates advanced protection circuits against overload, direct current (DC), and overheating.

Phono MM & Digital Connections

Equipped with a high-quality Phono MM preamplifier with +/-0.1dB RIAA correction accuracy, a subsonic filter, and low noise. The digital section includes 3 optical and 2 coaxial inputs supporting PCM up to 192kHz/24bit, as well as a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with support for aptX-HD, AAC, and SBC for high-resolution wireless audio streaming.

Headphone Amplifier & Flexibility

It features a dedicated headphone amplifier with two outputs (3.5mm and 6.35mm), capable of driving demanding headphones with a maximum power of 0.4W at 16 Ohms. Connectivity is rounded out by 2 RCA analog inputs, 1 RCA pre-out, a 12V trigger port (in/out), and sturdy speaker terminals, all in a compact chassis weighing 8 kg.
